Nancy O’Hara, MD, MPH is a board-certified pediatrician. Prior to her medical career she taught children with autism. Dr. O’Hara graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and earned a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh. She entered general private practice in 1993, and in 1998 began her consultative, integrative practice solely for children with special needs. Since 1999 she has dedicated her practice to the integrative and holistic care of children with neurodevelopment disorders, ADHD, PANDAS/PANS, OCD, Lyme, allergies and Autistic Spectrum Disorder. She is a leader in the training of clinicians, both in the US and abroad. Her practice is located in Wilton, CT.

Jillian Leigh Cano, M.Ed, BCBA holds a Masters in Interdisciplinary Special Education as well as Connecticut State Certification for Special Education grades K-12. Prior to working at The Center for Growth and Development, she was a Special Education Teacher within the New Canaan and Fairfield Public School systems. In both positions, Jillian worked with students on the autism spectrum. She has significant experience developing IEP's, implementing programs, tracking progress and adjusting programs to maximize children's development. Jillian has worked closely with school administrators to develop programs, written and presented annual reviews at PPT meetings, as well as supervised and trained staff.
Jillian is a dedicated board certified behavior analysis with over 16 years of experience working with children on the autism spectrum and related disorders. She is able to set and maintain high expectations with the belief that children will rise to them and be reliable, respectful, responsible and life long learners. She is an outgoing and patient instructor who enjoys working with children as well as an effective team player with strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Jillian completed the certification program in Applied Behavior Analysis for Special Education from The Pennsylvania State University, and received her BCBA in March of 2009.

Ailene Tisser, MA PT is a pediatric physical therapist with more than 20 years experience treating a variety of diagnoses, both in and out of the water. She has previously worked in both New York and Southern California. Along with co-owning Swim Angelfish, Ailene runs her own aquatic and land based therapy practice, Therafins LLC, in Connecticut. She is NDT trained in pediatrics and is trained in play project, DIR/Floortime. Ailene prides herself on being a valuable resource for children with special needs and their families.
Swim Angelfish was founded by its two co-owners: Ailen Tisser PT and Cindy Freedman OT. Swim Angelfish consists of 4 companies- Angelfish Therapy- Pediatric OT and PT for children with special needs, Swim Whisperers Swim School- swim lessons for children with sensory and motor disorders, Angelfish Camps- an overnight camp and day camp program in August, and Angelfish Tranining- continuing education courses and educational DVD's for therapists, aquatic professionals and parents.
